My Story
When people ask me why I started selling Scentsy or how I began selling the products, it seems quite Vague to reply with "Because I love the products". You'd have to love a product yourself before promoting it, wouldn't you? Let's not be Captain Obvious here!
Let me tell you my story..
Yes I love the products. Not just the warmers and wax - I love them, all.
When I had first moved into my own apartment in 2013, I wanted to be that person who, people remembered you by the scent of your house. I remembered visiting my Aunt's house growing up, and I always said if you blindfolded me and put me inside of her house, I would instantly know where I was, just by the scent. How was I going to create 'that scent'?
Then I recalled a time when I was at my friend's house and her house smelled amazing. She told me it was a scent from Scentsy. At that point, I had no idea what Scentsy was and didn't ask. The scent was Black Raspberry Vanilla.
That Spring, I mentioned to my sister in law I would like to find some Scentsy. (Still not knowing what it was exactly that I was looking for.) Ironically, her response was "My cousin sells Scentsy". Once I realized this was a home-based business, I asked her if she could put me into contact with her cousin because I wanted to have "...one of those home parties where I could earn free and half priced products". That following weekend I had 10 ladies in my tiny basement apartment and we were having a Scentsy party. We had a lot of fun! I earned 2 Scentsy Warmers, 6 Scentsy Bars & a Laundry Bundle.
Quickly, I realized 6 bars were not going to be enough, for my now, addiction. I also realized that Laundry was now my favourite chore.
From the day that I received my laundry bundle, I have not purchased a laundry product outside of Scentsy's since.
Six months after having that party and buying products every month thereafter, I decided selling Scentsy could be a great way for me to 'Get out and Socialize', and earn free product. It would be a cheaper way for me to get these amazing items.
Fast forward to today -
I'm never going to have "that scent" I referred to earlier in this dialogue. My house is filled with many Scents.
I not only know what Scentsy is, but I share what Scentsy does and can do for you.
I've paid off dept. I've earned an ALL INCLUSIVE, ALL EXPENSES PAID vacation, for myself AND a guest! I've gained Friendships from different provinces and countries. I work for a tremendous company, surrounded by an incredible support team. I've been shown that I have extraordinary friends and family that support me every step of my Scentsy Journey. But most importantly, I'm living proof that the smallest thought or idea, can turn into the greatest, most rewarding, fun-filled Adventure.
For me, Scentsy went from being a smell I wanted in my home, to becoming a passion and a life changing experience I have to share with the people around me, and the people around them, and so on.
So why do I sell Scentsy?
From warmers and wax, to Laundry and Counter cleaners. From Body wash for men and women, to Travel Tins and Scentsy Go. From Kids Stuffed Buddies to Baby Sidekicks and Teething Rings - Scentsy has a product for everyone!
From Friendships to Commissions - Scentsy has a purpose for everyone! So why wouldn't I?
